This Louie first appeared in 2004 at an NAU homecoming game. Designers listened to students concerns on making Louie more intimidating and made him look more fierce. Students described this Louie as having a facelift. One student even called this Louie “hot”. This mascot was so angry, ESPN reported it as one of scariest mascots at that time.
