Mike the Mascot is a St. Bernard dog and was NAU’s official mascot in 1947. His original owner, Bob Witty, was from Oregon and was transitioning down Arizona to attend Arizona State College (NAU). As he was making his transition students from Bury Hall and Taylor Hall agreed to care for Mike.
