This painting embodies the playful nature of many of the themes of the Rococo. Two women peak through the drapes; the leftmost exposes her breast. It is sensual in content, but also in the light pinks and reds that adorn it. It also involves the acknowledgement of the viewer's gaze, one is both looking at the painting and being looked at by the painting.
