Description
Print image on cream paper. English men stand in the foreground of a wooded area. The three on the left wear dark clothing and stand in a group. Three others in light clothing stand closer to the woods. Two men from each group are communicating with each other while the other members of their party communicate amongst themselves. On the far right of the image there are five Native Americans, four of which are standing while one sits. Behind them with a weapon is an Englishman. Under the image reads: CAPTIVE INDIANS SOLD INTO SLAVERY. In pencil the word “Slavery” is handwritten on the left bottom corner and near the right bottom corner in ink is the number “1322,” and below it “N.Y. PUBLIC LIBRARY PICTURE---”
