This piece is a drawing of the inside of a slave ship. The top image is an arial view of the inside and shows the how the slaves were placed in the cargo section of the ship. On the left of the ship is a “Store Room” the top and bottom with slaves seperating the two rooms. The bottom image shows the ship from the side and the four levels of slaves. At the bottom of the page it reads, “DECK OF A SLAVE SHIP.”
