La Prima Donna: From a Profession to a Pejorative

Exhibit creator Lindsey Cillis was born and raised in the outskirts of Phoenix, Arizona. She is currently a second-year graduate student working toward her Master of Arts degree in History with a Primary Emphasis in Public History at Northern Arizona University. She also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with minors in International Studies and Italian from NAU in 2021. After earning her MA, she hopes to become a museum professional and help make histories accessible, educational, and inclusive to the communities that they serve!
