Description
-
A terrifying decaying body leans over a curtain. Its skin is falling off, revealing skeletal and muscular structures beneath. This popular image by famous Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai depicts a famous ghost story in Japan, of Kohada Koheiji, a Kabuki actor who was drowned by his wife and the man she was having an affair with. His specter comes back to haunt them.
