Curator Biography
Doreen Duran
My name is Doreen Duran and I am a Senior at Northern Arizona State University. I am majoring in Humanities.
Humanities has been a good teacher of empathy and in which I am most grateful for. My goal is to obtain a Bachelor’s degree and I am a career Administrative Assistant. Empathy plays an important role in all jobs, and I believe it has helped me greatly. When you are able to have compassion and understanding towards everyone you work with and live with, it is easier to have patience and understanding.
I hope you have enjoyed my exhibit about the Umbrella. I certainly learned more than I ever thought I would learn about this device. My appreciation for umbrellas has changed and I am currently in search of the perfect umbrella to match to my personality.
