Description

This is a colored photograph of a cowboy riding a horse while roping a steer. The cowboy is sitting atop a bay horse in the left side of the image and is wearing a black cowboy hat, a denim jacket, leather chaps, jeans, and cowboy boots. The man and horse are both moving towards the camera but neither are looking at it. The steer is stopped to the right of the horse with a rope already around its neck while the cowboy in the image throws another rope around its neck. The steer is red with splotches of white on its legs, face, chest, and belly. Behind the subjects, there is a wooden fence in the background.
