Hammersly is a super rad teacher!!!

This course was very informable to me and enlightened my learning experience. I would recomend others to take this course as well.

I really enjoyed this class. Chuck Hammersley is a wonderful teacher with much enthusiasm for the subject. I enjoyed attending class. He was very responsive with emails and phone messages. Also, the availability of the class notes and tests on the web enhanced the students enthusiasm and allowed for more flexibility with the class and better time management with other classes
combined.

Chuck is a great professor and needs to keep up his superior work ethic. He doesn't just teach, he makes you think!!!! I like the quizzes and tests on line. I have learned alot that way. Great job!!

This class made me decide to change my major to parks and recreation. I really enjoyed the class and the philosophy behind it.

You are a very inspiring teacher, thanks!

Dr. Hammersley is an excellent, enthusiastic, and motivating instructor. I felt privilaged to have been in his class, I always left with a good feeling because he helped me get interested and excited about my major and my future in the recreation field.

Chuck is an enthusiastic and innovative teacher who deeply cares about his students and their future success.

This was one of the best organized courses I have ever taken. The extensive use of the web and VCC made assignments and tests easy to access, comfortable to do, and straightforward. Using these components also allowed us to spend more
class time in discussion about a huge variety of aspects of humanity and society that parks and rec. influence. This open forum allowed our instructor to display his huge passion for the area of study and for life in general - I was motivated and inspired from taking this class. Thank you Chuck Hammersley!!!

This course was a very good course. The only thing that I did not like was that it required almost twice the amount of time than that of any other course that I have taken. I did more work in this course than any four credit course that I ever had. Although, it was a good learning experience. I gained invaluable experience during this semester in this class. Another thing that I did not
like was that we had assignments and were tested on material that we had not covered in class at that time. It was a little confusing and resulted in some grades that I wasn't too happy about. Other than that, Dr. Hammersley is an excellent instructor for this course and is very experienced and knowledgeable in the materials covered.

This class was very very extensive as far as hands on information that is needed to meet the real world.

Keep up the great work Chuck!!! Could somebody reading this nominate him for an award or something. I love the online quizzes and tests, I have learned more this way than any other teaching style I have come across. Thank you

This web based course seemed to be a good tool for learning how to get around on the Internet and use email efficiently. It was a good way to conduct the class

Great Class!

Chuck is a great teacher. He is very very helpfull and will to take time to talk to students about everything.

I really like this format for classes. It allows ample time to complete assignments at my own pace.

I had really enjoyable time and had a lot of knowledge about tourism and/or ecotourism. I am hoping that today's class will be useful in the career. Thank you!

Another excellent course. The textbook was full of good material, but fell apart the first time I opened it (it was brand new and I paid full price for it). But whatever, no big deal. I enjoyed the course.

I thought the amount of material covered was just right in this course, enough to be challenging without overwhelming me. I sincerely enjoyed the class and hope someday to meet Dr. Hammersley.

I took this course due to my only needing electives to graduate and my list of classes to choose from over the internet was very limited. The class started out with some minor problems (not the instructors fault) because the bookstore had ordered the wrong books for this class. But the instructor was right on top of it and the problem was solved immediately without the students getting too far behind in their assignments. This class has been informative and alot of fun for someone who had no idea what I was even doing. I have gained alot of understanding and in time, I hope to use it with the information that I gained
from PRM220 and PRM 326 to help those who can use my knowledge and skills.

I realy enjoy web based courses and because they enable you to work at your own pace, therefor helping to build responsibility and self motivation.

I enjoy web based classes. I feel that I can learn that same as traditional classes. I enjoy the self learning that takes place with a web course.

Dr. Hammersly really knows what he teaches and is very enthustactic about it he was never boring in lecture and always had something interesting to say.

This had to be the one class I have had so far that I feel will prepare me to open my own business.

Quizzes and tests are not my favorite thing to do in the world but the way that they are presented and the information you need to know and understand on the testing seems to be the information that you should know instead of boring crap that you will never use. I like the opportunity of finishing assignments early and spending more time on the project. If someone fails to do their tasks in a timely manner in this class then it is their loss and ignorance.

I like the fact that tests can be taken over the web. I have always felt nervous taking tests in a classroom setting and I end up making mistakes that I might not have made if I were allowed to take the test on my own.

This course was a good course. I enjoyed the aspects of the class. I do, however, feel as though the project is weighed quite a lot, considering we had 9 quizzes and three exams. The project taught me A LOT about starting abusiness and all the components that go along, but I think it was weighed too much for the class.

Chuck is a great teacher. I learned a lot from this class and the project.

CHUCK ROCKS!!!
