1998  Grant, Coconino County Jail District, $500. To conduct a Neighborhood Needs Assessment for a proposed community park.

1997 Grant, Arizona Parks and Recreation Fund, $1,200.00. To support the Rural and Tribal Recreation Project.

1997 Grant, Computer Software, Escom Inc., $1,400.00. This grant was in the form of donated software to the PRM program. The software will be used to develop a new computer applications in leisure services course for undergraduate students.

1994 Grant, Resort and Commercial Recreation Association, $3,000.00. To develop and conduct a Job Task Analysis and national certification professional examination.

1994 Grant, Caribou Recreation and Parks Association, $2,550.00. To develop a Child Development Community Survey and design a Child Development Program.

1994 Grant, University of Maine - Presque Isle, Student Senate, $17,995.00. To establish an Outdoor Adventure Program based on student leadership training. The program provides instruction, outings, and equipment rental.

1993 Grant, Resort and Commercial Recreation Association, $800.00. To develop a third version of the RCRA Computerized Internship Directory.

1993 Grant, Computer Software, Escom Inc., $1,650.00. The grant was in the form of donated software to the Recreation program. This software was used to develop a new computer applications in leisure services course for undergraduate students.

1992 Grant, Playground Safety Evaluation, Idaho Recreation and Park Association, $1,080. This grant was to cover playground safety consulting and evaluation services to communities in Idaho.

1991 Co-author of the Adventure Education Facility proposal funded by ASUI ($9,000.00) to convert a racquetball court into an indoor climbing wall and ropes course in Memorial Gym for academic, recreation, and community use.

1991 Grant, Community Swim Center Survey, Moscow Parks and Recreation Department $1,000.00. This grant determined the interest of the Moscow community towards a proposed new municipal aquatics facility.

1990 Grant, Community Aquatics Survey, Moscow Parks and Recreation Department, $500.00. This grant determined the current use and level of satisfaction of the existing municipal pool by Moscow residents.

1989 Grant, Internship Preferences Computer Program, Resort and Commercial Recreation Association, Orlando, FL., $600.00. This grant developed a national database of recreation internship agencies and a software program to interface with the database.

1988 Appleton/Lippencott Grant, Springfield College, $3,000. This grant developed a whitewater course and purchased new equipment.
