TSMC PTAP Training (NAU @ NVC)
Northern Arizona University is proud to lead the way in high-tech workforce development through the Process Technician Apprenticeship Training (PTAP) Program —a cutting-edge collaboration with Rio Salado Community College (RSC), TSMC, the SEMI Foundation, and the City of Phoenix. Offered through NAU's Sanghi College of Engineering and Continuing Education departments, the program provides hands-on industry training at TSMC and academic instruction at NAU's North Valley Campus in Phoenix. The program is focused on microelectronics metrology and quality assurance, equipping learners with the specialized skill needed to excel in the semiconductor industry. PTAP apprentices also gain access to NAU's Flagstaff Metrology Research and Teaching Lab (MRTL), where they learn and interact with research-grade equipment and graduates earn a TSMC Certification or a Rio Salado Certificate of Completion, which can be applied toward an AAS degree at Rio Salado or ultimately a BS degree at NAU!
