- Sunday, April 7, 2024: ACA Final Four CEO Forum - Dr. Andy Wang was invited to present at the 2024 Men's Final Four CEO Forum. This event represents a
highly targeted, results-driven marketing strategy that leverages Arizona's unique cultural assets and strengths during the NCAA's 2024 Men's CEO Forum to engage
with CEOs and business decision makers for the purposes of advancing Arizona's economy. Forum attendees learn about Arizona's business climate, exchange ideas,
build relationships with peers through both networking and thought leadership sessions, and engage with policymakers. The event brings together C-Suite executives
from companies representing semiconductor, battery, aerospace and defense, bioscience and software/technology industries. Included in the event are Venture
Capitalists, Private Equity Executives and high-growth, early-stage startups looking to scale their operations.
At the Workforce Panel, Dr. Andy Wang presented NAU's unparalleled initiatives and opportunities for workforce development and industry partnership, including our new BSET degree, metrology certificate programs, semiconductor training center, and Metrology Research and Teaching Laboratory. Nationally, industry faces a skills gap that's projected to grow over the coming decade. NAU is engaging students and workers traditionally overlooked in higher education to boost postsecondary attainment, especially in high-demand areas.
