Description
-
The lavender dress has a fitted corset bodice with a large flared skirt. This style of dress became popular starting in the 1830s when the Empire waist lowered. There are buttons down the center of the bodice, with a miniature black bow tied at the top. The dress is partially off the shoulder, with a lavender sleeve layered with cream colored tulle. Throughout the bell skirt layers of lavender fabric reate patterns and bows throughout the middle of the skirt. The very bottom of the skirt features the same scalloped layering that appears in the middle of the skirt.
