Empress Eugénie was married to Napoleon III. She was well known for her fashion and her beauty. She favored the designs of Charles Frederick Worth and she has been attributed for setting the style for the French imperial court, as well as influencing French fashion. In the photo, Empress Eugénie is wearing a black dress while leaning on a column.
