Saito Fashion Print
Saito drew various fashion prints in which she depiced her unique designs and ideas. Her designs seem to be influenced by western culture and dress. We see a woman in a coat with a black top underneath and a pearl necklace around her neck, holding a small handbag. -
Teapot and Cup
A teapot handmade from slate is fashioned with a functional handle and lid and accompanied by a smaller, symbol donned cup. Iseyama's being a gardener is clearly seen in the way she opted to display colorless leaf and vine motifs accompanied by pomegranates. Constructed during internment at Topaz, Utah camp. Illustrates both the prevalence of ceramic working as well as the preservation of day to day cultural practices in the camps.
