Star NAU football athletes
With NAU being in the Big Sky Conference, not many athletes go on to play professional after college because most professional teams look in the Pac-12, Big-10 to recruit athletes. But, there are always special athletes that prove statistics wrong and make it to the big leagues. NAU has had a handful of former football alumni which are currently on NFL rosters.
Khalil Dorsey is also another athlete Case Cookus played with that is currently signed to the Baltimore Ravens football team roster. Case Cookus started playing football at NAU in 2015, so hes been in the program for a few years and has worked with many atheltes that have came and gone from NAU.
